interesting,but kind of dry.the book "hands on chicago" did a far better job of giving a little more personal insight into each community,but I enjoyed this book also.now about the maps...the map of hermosa was wrong,just a minor quibble...but what happened to kildare street? also schreiber and neva seem to be missing in norwood park.
If you grew up in Chicago or have any interest in the diverse makeup of Chicago communities, you need this handy book.
Born & raised in Chicago, I now know where all these areas are that people talk about. Am planning on getting my niece one too.
