The story continues with Tor in the World of Legends, proving just how much of a hero he really is. His friends are in trouble and the only way he can save them is to pass tests to save them. Can he do it? Or will he be the one needing to be saved? Great author, great series.
This story kept me captivated. Each move by Tor was a lesson in his heart and soul. Confused all the time constantly saying he was no hero. Yet he had the will and strength to be said hero. A lesson for all about our failures and successes. Can't wait to read the next book
Would like to have had a longer story, less time in the tree, but I and my sister do love this writer and stories.
Take a deep breath before you start this book, because you won’t be able to breathe during. At least I wasn’t! Wo-o-o-o-o-ooooooow.Tor has changed so much. No longer only focused on himself. He is now even protective of Saboraak. Fiercely protective! And oh, the poor boy is so hungry again! The way he reasons with himself and/or Saboraak is so funny! He is a bit cranky in this episode. For good reason. Sarcasm dripped off the page. And he’s stubborn. Yet he does learn a lot about himself! He learns how annoying he can be :)I could NOT put this book down. Im.Pos.Si.Ble.Quotes:“Weak or not, Saboraak was still able to chide me. I liked it.â€â€œâ€¦magic was the worst. It was worse than girls and dragons combined.â€
Tor a hero? No matter how many times others called him that, he could not accept it. Even if you did something heroic, that doesn't make him a hero... so he thought. He did what he had to, to protect his friends and allies. Heroes come and go but good friends remain forever. But the prophecies... who were they about? Bataar? Tor? Apeq? Someone else? And the dreams/visions? What were they? Married to Zyla, with children. And too Zin... so many unanswered questions... and love? Possibly?Tor, the street urchin, dragon rider, hero or fool, does he have a glorified future? Or an impending death?
A fantastic add to this series. As Tor has to face down these tasks, puzzles to save his friends. This read grabs you right away and has you on the edge of your seat. And before you no it your at the end of the book. The Author writes these acenes so well you can see them so vividly in your mind. A fantastic read. And a Definite must read.Shauna Joesten
This series keeps getting better and better with each episode! Tor's quest has pulled me in deep into this series as we watch all the action and suspense he has to go through. I love how he has grown as a person and is no longer self absorbed and is actually protective of Saboraak. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
Suspenseful!!My goodness I thought the suspense in this book, which non-stop, never ending, was going to drive me insane. Must read the next. I must. Love and appreciate the way the author does slightly tells you at the end, that is will be okay, maybe. LOL.
