Purchased this workbook along with the complete study guide. Passed all three parts on the first attempt. I did not read any IRS publications separately. I do have experience with personal income taxes but the material in Part 2 for Businesses was all new to me and I still passed!
The questions in these exams are not similar to those on the EA exam. The Passkey exams tend to "trick" the taker while the EA exam questions are more straightforward. I did not feel adequately prepared taking the test due to the differences in questions. Try Gleim
