After reading this book, and practicing some more on words with friends (using some of the techniques that Dave teaches), I can assure you that this summer, I will be the one doing the crushing. DO YOU HEAR ME MOM? I READ THIS BOOK AND I'M COMING FOR YOU!Also, I will say that this book has helped me immensely when I'm procrastinating on words with friends, and just using his 97% rule for prefixes has already increased my average score significantly, and along with that, my win ratio. Should I probably spend more time working and less time playing scrabble on my phone? Yes. But with this book and my newfound improved skill, I'm not gonna lie, it's hard to stop.If you are a scrabble / words with friends addict like me, and are tired of getting your butt kicked -- get this book. Vengeance shall soon be in your grasp.

My sister and I always love playing Scrabble, and we're usually pretty even when it comes to playing skill, so I'm always looking to one-up her. I used to always play Words With Friends as well, until too many of my friends started cheating by looking up a puzzle solver. Since then, I've settled with classic Scrabble, although this book is helpful for both. I really enjoyed all the helpful tips it offered (without having to cheat!). I never thought of switching up words I played in the beginning, middle, and end of the game but now I'm going to start trying those suggested tips out. Great book!

I've been playing words with friends for several years now and I've never been able to beat one of my friends yet. He wins all the time and he beats me so bad it's embarrassing. That's why I decided to give this book a try. I found the tips and techniques to be effective and easy to memorize. Even though I haven't been able to beat him yet I'm getting better and pretty soon I will. I'm going to keep practicing and implementing what I've learned from this really helpful guide until I beat him.

I found this book to be very useful in refreshing my knowledge of the game but did identify two things that might be helpful to think about. First, the proofreaders missed several errors. They don’t effect the quality of the book but I thought I should mention it. The other point I would like to make AND this is much more important: while it is very easy to enlarge the written descriptions to make them easier to read, I was unable to enlarge the charts and even with a magnifying glass they were simply too small to read. Putting these issues aside, I really found this book very helpful and would recommend it to anyone. I’m serious about improving my game and have purchased two other books to help me. I love playing Scrabble and Words With Friends with my son, his wife and my girlfriends in the neighborhood. I've read so many books but this book I found on WordFind is the best by far! So many good strategy ideas and it is pretty funny.

The print is way too small. Otherwise, the information is impressive and very helpful for someone who plays Scrabble on a regular, weekly basis.

Learning a fun way to increase your vocabulary - awesome book.
